WordPress Hosting – User Role Editor

Synopsis

Configure the User Role Editor Pro plugin in a WordPress hosted site.

PreRequisites

• FEAS hosted WordPress site created (use the Service Request WordPress Hosting Initial Configuration).
• InfiniteWP plugin is installed and configured.
• WordFence plugin is installed and configured (see WordPress Hosting – WordFence).

Instructions

1. Using Infinite WP install the User Role Editor Pro plugin to the FEAS hosted WordPress site.
2. Goto the Plugins section of the hosted site and activate the User Role Editor Pro plugin.
3. Click on the Setting link for the User Role Editor Pro plugin.
4. On the General tab clear the invalid license key and paste the correct key from the license entry in 1Password.
5. Click the Save button.
6. On the Additional Modules tab, check the Activate Administrator Menu Access module checkbox and the Activate per plugin user access management for plugins activation checkbox.
7. Click the Save button.
8. On the left sidebar go to Users –> User Role Editor.
9. On the right side click the Import button.
10. Browse to the location you save the attached ure-roles-feas.dat file, then click Import.
11. Confirm that there is now a Sub-Admin role.
